Meet Our Teachers!
My early education career began in 2006. Not only do I love teaching and making connections, but I love inspiring a love for learning. Music, literature, writing, fashion, and world travel are my top interests. I consider myself a life-long learner and hope to spark that love in my students as well.
I have been working at Oregon City Day School since December 2014. Although I have worked with many ages, I currently am facilitating distance learning with the kindergarten class. In addition to working at OCDS, I have also worked as a nanny, and studied personal training. In my time after work I enjoy staying active by running, weight lifting, hiking, and paddle boarding. I also enjoy music & movies.
I am Miss Bella. I started as a student here at OCDS. As a teacher, I focus on each child's strengths while exploring and supporting growth in areas they may be less confident. I believe children learn best in calm, inviting environment paired with hands-on learning, and positive communication. I enjoy nature, painting, gardening, going on adventure with my boyfriend, or staying in with my beloved cat, Wilson.
I am a preschool teacher, and mother . I love singing songs and playing silly games to promote learning. In my class we practice arts and crafts, yoga, and sharing stories. Im my personal life, I am interested in fitness, interior design, and both cozy time, and adventures with my family.
I am Miss Linda, also known as Aunt Linda. since I was born. As the youngest of 9 "much older" siblings, I began my work caring for children at a. very young age and grew out of the loving relationships I developed with my many niece s and nephews. I have worked as a CNA in geriatrics, pediatrics, hospice care, and for the same natruopathic doctor for 30 years. In my care, I make sure children are nurtured, seen, and heard. For self care, I love adventures, tango, salsa, and line dancing. Anything with rhythm!
Hello! My name is Hannah Valdez. I’ve been the teacher in the two’s class since 2017. My favorite part about working in childcare is watching all the children learn, and grow, and I’m so glad I get to be a part of it. In my free time, I enjoy painting, dancing, singing, and doing anything that can take me outdoors.
Hi! I'm Miss Erica. I have been in early childhood education for many years, and really enjoy it. When I am not at OCDS, you'll find me reading, at the library, or bookstore, or on an adventure with my husband and daughter. I look forward to getting to know you and your family while helping your child learn and grow.
