In Our Classroom We...

Read stories, sing songs, and play games to support cognitive development through play. We have morning meeting/circle time where we have calendar time, review shapes, colors, letters, and numbers. We focus on social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play as well as carefully guided lessons. Our classroom is laid out in centers, which allows children to move through the class and choose their area of interest. We are learning to work together, follow a class schedule, and master self care skills.
